Those of you who know me, know that I LOVE Thomas the Tank Engine!! So when my mommy and daddy took me to The South Street Seaport for "Target Children's Day" I was thrilled to meet Thomas in person. I got Thomas stickers, Thomas tatoos and a Thomas hat!! Thomas was happy too - see how he is smiling! We had lots of fun, and met some neat people, as you will see in the next few pictures |

Along with lots of fun things going on at the South Street Seaport there were many interesting people. We saw a Pirate, a Purple Baboon, and this woman who was very, very tall. She picked me up and I could almost see my house! |

This is me with Gordon from Sesame Street, one of my favorite TV shows on PBS! He was at "Target Children's Day" to announce some of the musical guests and read to kids like me. He was nice enough to take a picture with me. I can't wait to see him on TV again! |

You may not know her, but this is Tami Farrell from Oregon. She is better known as Miss Teen USA. She was at the South Street Seaport to help read to us kids along with Miss USA. They were reading a book called "The Furtails" that was written by Shandi Finnessey who is Miss USA. The book was fun and Tami and Shandi were very pretty. |

Sometimes when my daddy takes a picture, especially when we are out at a public event, you can only hope for the best. This is me with Mr. McFeely from Mister Roger's Neighborhood. The picture is not the best of me, but Mr. McFeely was so very nice to me and all the kids he met. He read books and let us draw on the walls! (there was paper on the walls my dad wants you to know) So while this is not the best picture you will see of me isn't it cool that I met Mr. McFeely? |

This is Laurie Berkner. She is a very popular children's singer. My mommy and daddy took me to see her in concert and I danced the whole time in the aisle and right in front of that stage. I tried to climb up on the stage, but my daddy wouldn't let me. After the show I went backstage to meet Laurie and gave her a big, big hug. I know a lot of her music from the cd's we have, but I also watch her on Noggin (Channel 129 if you are in New York and have Time Warner) You can learn more about her from her website, www.twotomatoes.com . Believe me, if you have kids you should know about Laurie Berkner and I should know, I'm a kid! |

On July 4th, my mommy and daddy took me to see Lyle Lovett in concert. He played a lot of fun music and I spent most of the show dancing with two gils named Olivia - one from Texas and one from Salt Lake City, Utah. They were about 8 and 10 years old and we had a lot of fun. After the show, as people were leaving, my daddy spotted Mr. Lovett by a tent near the side of the stage. We went over and I yelled, "LYLE" and he heard me and came over to take a picture. My daddy thanked him and told him, "Mr. Lovett, we really enjoyed the concert." To which Mr. Lovett responded, "Well thank you and please, call me Lyle." Thanks Lyle! After that we went and saw the Macy's Fireworks show making it a truly fabulous 4th. |

This is Penn Jillette, the talking (and now writing) half of the performing team Penn and Teller. He was doing a reading and book signing in Bryant Park and since it was such a nice day my daddy and I decided to go. I ran around a lot during the reading, which was a good thing as Penn said a lot of words that my daddy said that I shouldn't know. But when we took this picture he was as nice and as friendly as he could be. My daddy says that his book, "Sock", looks like it will be very fun to read... for him, not for me. |

This is me with Hugh Jackman. Just before I met him, daddy told me that he played "Wolverine" in the X-Men movies and I got a little scared! But when he came over he was very nice and he didn't have long nails or anything. He is in a show here called "The Boy From Oz" where he plays the performer, Peter Allen. He sings and dances and is supposed to be terrific. All I know is that he was very nice to me and to the 60 or so people waiting to meet him outside the theater before the show. My daddy told the folks who write the Spike Column in the Sydney Morning Herald that we were going to meet him, and we did. So a big Goodonya to all of our new Australian friends! |

This is me and Julia Stiles. She has been in lots of movies and is presently in "The Bourne Supremacy" with Matt Damon. Daddy and I bumped into her while walking to Fairway to do some shopping. When daddy asked if she would pose with me, she was very nice to us. I gave her my biggest smile! I hope that we will bump into her again! |

The New York Times is sponsoring a "Summer Read" program along with Borders Books here in New York. They have serialized "The Great Gatsby" and this week they are doing "Like Water for Chocolate", a book my daddy really likes. At a reading we got to hear and meet Daphne Rubin-Vega, an actress that my Mommy and Daddy saw in a show called "Anna in the Tropics." The show "Anna in the Tropics" also starred Jimmy Smits and he was at the reading as well. He was very nice to stop and pose with me because he was rushing off to be in the Shakespeare in the Park production of "Much Ado about Nothing." My daddy says a lot of people will know him because he was on a show called "NYPD Blue" a show my daddy says I can't watch till I am much, much older! |
