Recently, my mommy and daddy and I went to Charleston, South Carolina on Vacation. We had a fun time and here are a few pictures and stories about our trip. |

On our 2nd night in Charleston, we went to Sticky Fingers, the home of Legendary Ribs. My mommy had Fried Chicken and daddy had the Ribs. I had the Chicken Fingers and French Fries and my mommy said they were the best Chicken Fingers that she had tasted. The people there were very nice to us and gave me this had and a cool tee shirt as well. Even if you don't live in the South, you can check them out. This is me on a train at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum in Savannah, Georgia. We drove down there in the pouring rain, but it cleared up and we were able to walk around and see the train they have and the roundhouse, which, I believe, is one of the oldest in America. They have a great gift shop with tons on Thomas items (You know I love Thomas the Tank Engine!) This is me with Kim and Afton from River Street Sweets. You can find River Street Sweets in South Carolina and Georgia, but this shop is on Market Street in Charleston. When you talk about "Southern Hospitality," these two ladies are what you mean. They were so nice to me and my mommy and daddy. They gave me treats and treated all of us like we were the most important people in the world! We ended up buying three pounds of Pralines and some fudge! My hat is off to them. This is Aaron who runs Aaron's Deli and Hyman's Seafood in Charleston. We had dinner at Hyman's and it was great. My daddy had Scallops and mommy had Tilapia and I had the fish and chips, which were really tasty! They had lots of pictures of fish around the place and they had crayons for me to draw. We found out about Hyman's through Mark Weiss, a man we met while having breakfast at the Waffle House. Aaron knows him and came over to our table to say hello. he was a lot of fun and his food is great. I got to pet this deer and a few other animals at the petting zoo at Magnolia Plantation and Its Gardens in Charleston near the Ashley River. I also saw alligators and turtles and birds and spiders, not to mention horses, sheep, goats, hens, geese and peacocks. They have a train tour and a boat ride and a wonderful gift shop.
